Our client, located in Chandler, AZ is looking Quality Engineer II (Production-Manufacturing Environment experience) on a contract basis in Chandler, AZ
Note:
- This is a 6+ month contract position
- W2 Only, no 3rd parties/Corp to Corp
- This role is onsite in Chandler AZ daily
- Hours are 8 to 4 PM PST
Job Summary
- Performs final, in-process or receiving inspections, audits and other quality processes according to specifications and build requirements.
- Able to analyze data and generate reports and trend charts.
- Knowledgeable on the 7 quality tools and problem solving techniques as A3, 8D's.
- Cause-and-effect diagram (Fishbone diagram),
- Check sheet
- Control chart
- Histogram
- Pareto chart
- Scatter diagram
- Stratification (sometimes replaced with Flowchart or Run chart)
Principal Responsibilities
- Work along systems engineering with the review of customer, industry and other technical specifications to ensure compliance.
- Perform Build Instruction vs. drawing and specification checks and other technical documentation review.
- Conducts random, scheduled and/or unscheduled audits to determine conformance to customer specifications and technical drawings, manufacturers' specifications, assembly manual requirements, company processes and procedures and other such specifications and requirements.
- To perform root cause analyses by inspecting and evaluating material returns, reviewing documentation, interviewing employees and assessing conformance to quality assurance standards to determine the cause of defects, malfunctions or process breakdowns.
